2. Service Only Maintenance Agreement (SA)

As of 1st January 2001, ASSB further expands its quality support services by introducing the Service Only Maintenance Agreement (SA).

The Service Only Maintenance Agreement covers only service (such as remote helpdesk support, on-site service & support and the provision of temporary loan equipment wherever possible*) for the products covered under this agreement. However, unlike the Maintenance Service Agreement, the cost of spare parts and repair charges for faulty equipments are NOT included in this maintenance package.

The following are some of the benefits of SA :
  • covers the service of equipments that are still under extended warranty for parts from the manufacturers, even though the equipment may be out of warranty where the initial post-sales on-site support from Advantage Systems is concerned.
  • because failures of key network components can cause crippling and expensive disruptions to business processes, SA ensures that expert advice, on-site installation & configuration assistance and, even temporary loan equipment is given*.
  • reduce the need and cost of stocking emergency spares for breakdowns.
  • hassle-free verification and administration of warranty claims with equipment manufacturers.
  • centralise the point of contact for network/hardware maintenance services to just one company.
