FrontRange Seeks To Expand

Seeing a rise in demand for customer relationship management (CRM) and call centre solutions, US-based FrontRange Solutions is working on plans to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific.

Archie Wilson, vice president for Asia-Pacific said the company plans to open offices in Malaysia, Hong Kong and India by June next year to penetrate the market.  The three countries are now being serviced from its South Asia office in Singapore.

Wilson said the company experienced growth of 80 per cent in the region in its recent financial year ending June 2001.  "We intend to capture 25 per cent of the mid-sized market in this financial year, which ends in June 2002, " he said in Petaling Jaya

In a move to step up its business in Malaysia, FrontRange has appointed Advantage Systems Sdn Bhd as its solution partner to target mid-sized companies.  Wilson said he is confident that with Advantage's track record, FrontRange will soon gain a foothold in the market.

Advantage's managing director Gerard Tan said the company is focusing on promoting FrontRange's solutions, GoldMine CRM and HEAT HelpDesk.

"The message that we want to bring to the market is that CRM and helpdesk solutions are not just for large corporations"
